What is the most accurate biological age test? Is it GlycanAge?
The answer to which biological age test kit is ‘most accurate’ is not straight forward. However, in 2023 Nick tested over a dozen biological age tests and chose the best three for the A Longer Life audience. We are happy to share the GlycanAge was one of the top three.

How often should you test your GlycanAge?
We asked GlycanAge Chief Science Officer Professor Gordan Lauc: What is the timescale on which our GlycanAge is changing?
His response: Glycans change relatively slowly. The half life of IGG is approximately three weeks. I think the shortest period to see something would be maybe a month. But this is for a really radical change. If you start taking a drug, or really changed lifestyle factors a lot, such as completely changing diet, starting to exercise much more.
Normally, we see things changing after three or four months. If you slightly change your diet today, it first takes some some time to manifest in the glycans. Normally, we recommend people when they change a lifestyle, re-test after three months and then six months again. If what you are doing is working, you will see the result.
